St Elisabeth’s Hospital is easily accessed by car thanks to its central location and is within walking distance of the train station of Zottegem. This section contains all the information to make your stay in the hospital as efficient as possible. The hospital has a large pay car park for over 500 cars. For the smooth operation of our hospital visit we apply a strict visiting regime.
Directions coming from Brussels
- Leave the E40 motorway at exit 18 (Erpe-Mere) - direction Zottegem / Oudenaarde.
- Follow the N46 and at the junction with the N42 (a four-lane road) turn left towards Zottegem / Geraardsbergen (on the corner of the intersection you will see a gas station).
- Follow the N42 (you will drive past two traffic lights) until you see a sign for 'St Elisabeth’s Hospital - Ronse Zottegem-Zwalm.
- Turn right. The hospital is located 1 km down the road to your left.
Directions coming from Gent
- Leave the E40 motorway at exit 17 (Wetteren) – heading towards Zottegem.
- Follow the N42 until Zottegem, where the N42 turns into a four-lane road. Follow until you see a sign for ‘St Elisabeth’s Hospital - Ronse Zottegem-Zwalm’.
- Turn right. The hospital is located 1 km down the road to your left.
Travelling by train
St Elisabeth Hospital is within walking distance of the station of Zottegem. Zottegem Station is located on the busy train line between Ostend and Liege. For the timetable to and from the station of Zottegem we refer you to the NMBS website.
This is the shortest route from the station to the hospital:
- Take the exit at the back of the station and turn right
- Follow 'Broeder Mareslaan'
- At the junction, continue into Godveerdegemstraat.
- Turn right after 100 metres towards the main entrance of the hospital.
